As you probably know, at Microsoft SwiftKey we like to predict things (mainly words). What you may not know is that your Microsoft SwiftKey Keyboard also provides you with the option of having emoji suggested on the prediction bar.

With emoji prediction enabled, Microsoft SwiftKey will suggest emoji in the prediction bar for various words. It will also learn from your emoji usage so that if you always send a particular emoji after a particular word, Microsoft SwiftKey will have that ready and waiting for you, like this:

It's not currently possible to change the emoji style within Microsoft SwiftKey itself. Your Microsoft SwiftKey Keyboard uses the standard Android emoji font, which means that the emoji style you see within Microsoft SwiftKey (emoji panel/emoji predictions) is dependent on your OS or the app you are using.

Emoji on the Microsoft SwiftKey Keyboard uses the standard Android font. This means, that depending on what version of Android your device(s) are running and what app you are using, the look and color of the emoji will be impacted.

Some apps, such as Facebook and WhatsApp, have built in their own variations of emoji that are different from the Android system font.

This means that if you use a Microsoft SwiftKey emoji on Facebook, for example, it will look different in the app compared to what you saw in Microsoft SwiftKey Keyboard. This is not a bug, but something implemented by other apps. Also, if you send messages from an Android device to an iOS device (or vice versa) the emoji may display differently.

Microsoft has updated the SwiftKey Keyboard Android app to introduce some new features. After the update, the SwiftKey app bears version number 8.10.34.6 and comes with new emojis and a new keyboard theme.

Swiftkey Keyboard app now supports Unicode 15 emojis. If you have a device that supports emojis based on Unicode 15 standard, you can now pick and use them in your conversations from the SwiftKey Keyboard app on Android. In Unicode 15 standard, 31 new emojis are there if you count all the skin tone variations.

There is also a new keyboard theme in the latest version of SwiftKey. "Fluent Adaptive" is the new keyboard theme, and it can be found in the Themes setting of the app. You need to scroll to the bottom of the Themes page to find it, and then tap on the "Fluent Adaptive" theme to apply it on the keyboard layout.

As title suggest, I generally use up to 20 emojis.. usually for jokes, showing emotion over text to ensure it's not misconstrued (Never understood the hate for Emojis! You can't read a cheeky smile through text!)...

But occasionally I'll use a bunch of stupid emojis for shits n giggles and then I'll have to scroll through and search for the emojis I need again to get them in the recent section. Annoying as fuck.

Setting up SwiftKey Keyboard is easily done, thanks to a handy start-up screen. You'll need to download a language module from a choice of nine (see below for the full list), and enable SwiftKey Keyboard as your default input method on your phone. Once you've done this you'll see a new on-screen keyboard whenever you send a message or enter text.

Keys are laid out in QWERTY format, though the default setting is a bit thin for our liking. Luckily, you can customize key sizes in SwiftKey Keyboard though, as well as setting the color and design of the keyboard by choosing a them.

The SwiftKey Flow system, introduced in version 4 of SwiftKey allows you to enter words simply by drawing lines between letters on the keyboard, in much the same way that Swype does. Coupled with its powerful prediction and correction system, I would argue that writing in SwiftKey Keyboard is now even quicker than in Swype.

SwiftKey Keyboard lets you type on your phone much more quickly and is the best keyboard for Android replacement you'll find. Even if you're prone to making spelling mistakes, the app is great at detecting and correcting them automatically.

So when I have 2 keyboards defined in iPhone settings (SwiftKey and Emoji), that buton quickly switches between letters and emojis. When I add a 3rd keyboard in the iPhone settings, the button switches between SwiftKey and iPhone keyboard. Can I make it quick switch just between SwiftKey keyboard and emoji? I need the 3rd keyboard for dictation in my local language (not supported by SwiftKey dictation). Thanks!

Swiftkey announced a new keyboard app today, its first major app since it was acquired by Microsoft in February. It is a keyboard app dubbed Swiftmoji, and despite what the name suggests, it is not a Taylor Swift-themed sticker pack.

Swiftmoji is not Microsoft's only multi-platform keyboard option. Aside from standard Swiftkey and Swiftmoji, the company's experimental Garage group released the Hub keyboard in early April, followed soon after by the Word Flow keyboard.

So after the latest update I found out major UX problem. When I access emojis, then the emoji search bar appears and the whole keyboard frame is bigger than with the text only. This causes send button in IM apps to be moved a lot up so now you have to remember different send button positions when sending the message while ending with text or with ending with emoji. Is there a way to hide emoji search or at least make the emoji keyboard same size as text keyboard?

SwiftKey is a simple keyboard app that allows you to write much more quickly using your Android device after you've installed it. It intelligently corrects any mistake that you make... which is something that is quite common with touchscreen keyboards these days.

SwiftKey learns the words and phrases that you use the most in order to try to anticipate what you are going to type. So, usually, when you start to type a word, a series of suggestions will appear in the upper part of the keyboard, and you just have to tap on one of them for it to appear in the text field.

The SwiftKey configuration options allow you to change the appearance of the keyboard, selecting from among more than ten different options. Even more importantly, you can synchronize your Facebook and Twitter accounts so it can more easily learn the names you use and how you write them, adapting itself to your style and offering you better suggestions.

SwiftKey is a very useful tool that allows its users to write much more quickly from a touchscreen keyboard on any Android device. It is undoubtedly one of the best keyboards that you can install on your mobile phone or tablet.

One of the features that makes SwiftKey Keyboard special is how it learns your writing style. Basically, the more you use the keyboard, the better it knows your typing habits and patterns, and the better it can correct you.

Yes, SwiftKey Keyboard is the Microsoft keyboard app. Although the team in charge of maintaining the app remains virtually the same, the parent company behind Swiftkey has been Microsoft since 2016.

Not these.. These are normal bog standard emoji's. I mean the Bitmoji. It's an separate app that connects to SWIFT and the emojis are totally different. You design a person and can use these as GIFS/Emojis

I have the SwiftKey keyboard installed on my iPhone on iOS 8.1 with the latest 1Password update. Underneath this keyboard I had the Emoji keyboard running so I could access these. However, when opening 1Password, the keyboard defaults to the Emoji keyboard and clicking the globe in the bottom left corner does not take me to the normal keyboard. Therefore, I am unable to type in 1Password with the Emoji keyboard enabled. Disabling the Emoji Keyboard in the settings app fixes this. I assume this is a bug, but I wanted to make agilebits aware of it so that it can be patched.

I am using the SwiftKey keyboard and have removed the Apple one. Regardless of what keyboard I'm on, when I open 1P it switches to Emoji and won't allow me to change. It means I have to temporarily install the Apple keyboard if I'm to enter text. Alternatively I start an arduous copying and pasting session. Neither appeals!

The solution is to add back the original iPhone keyboard. 1p will then default to this keyboard. But if you have removed it leaving only 3rd party keyboards and the emoji keyboard, 1p defaults to the emoji keyboard.

I'm thinking it will. When AgileBits added the option I suspect nobody envisaged people removing the Apple keyboard, heck I didn't even know you could. If that option disables third party keyboards though and none of you have the Apple one still accessible then that might explain the behaviour you're experiencing.

Microsoft acquired SwiftKey about four years ago, and apart from some additions like optional Microsoft accounts, Bing, and the company's translate feature, it didn't change too much about the popular third-party keyboard. Earlier this year, though, Microsoft's name got more prominent in the app's settings, and now, the Redmond giant has decided it's about time to make it even more obvious whose keyboard you're using. Following a beta test run, the latest stable version of SwiftKey is now called "Microsoft SwiftKey Keyboard" and comes with a refreshed logo. On the feature front, it only offers new emoji for Android 10 users. ff782bc1db
