SwifftDrop (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) is a file staging and sharing utility designed to help users organize and send files from their device. This Privacy Policy explains how SwifftDrop handles information.

SwifftDrop does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data.

The app does not require user registration and does not use analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking technologies.

All file operations occur locally on the user’s device.

2. Files and Local Storage

When users import or share files into SwifftDrop:

• Files are copied into the app’s private local storage.
  
  

• File metadata (such as file name, size, type, and modified date) is stored locally on the device.
  
  

• No files are uploaded to any external server.
  
  

• No file content is transmitted to us.
  
  

All stored data remains on the user’s device unless the user explicitly shares files using their device’s system sharing features.

3. Permissions Used

SwifftDrop may request the following permissions depending on features used:

File and Storage Access
Used to allow users to select, import, and manage files on their device.

Future Camera Access (Optional Feature)
Future versions of SwifftDrop may include QR-based file transfer features.
If implemented, camera access will be used strictly for scanning QR codes to facilitate file transfer.
SwifftDrop will not record, store, or transmit camera images or video beyond QR scanning functionality.

Permissions are only requested when necessary and are used solely to enable user-requested features.

4. Data Sharing

SwifftDrop does not sell, rent, trade, or share any user data.

The app does not connect to external servers for data processing.

When users share files, the sharing process is handled by the device’s operating system and selected third-party apps.

5. Children’s Privacy

SwifftDrop does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 years of age.
Since no personal information is collected, the app is safe for general audiences.

6. Security

All data processed by SwifftDrop remains on the user’s device.
We do not operate any backend servers that store user files or personal data.

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect new features or legal requirements.
Any updates will be posted with a revised effective date.
