With the addition in 2024 of the route from Amsterdam to Cologne, to the official
global Jerusalem Way network, this hiking route can now be started in the
Capital City of The Netherlands. With this, the Jerusalem Way has become
a long distance trail (LDT) from Amsterdam to Jerusalem.
The part from The Netherlands to Germany runs from
Amsterdam Dam Square to Cologne Dom Cathedral
and consists of sections of eight hiking trails with
a total length of 383.5 km.
