We will continue holding weekly study nights this year! These study nights are a great opportunity to collaborate with classmates and learn together! Underclassmen can also receive help from upperclassmen on projects! These study nights will be held every Monday in IESB 212 from 7 - 9 unless otherwise announced!
SWE is hosting a general body meeting on Monday, April 14th at 7:00pm. Officer Spotlights will also be discussed at this meeting!

SWE's Freshmen Leadership Initiative is
hosting a New Year's table this Tuesday, January 17th. We will be in the rotunda from 8 until 2, and we will
have sticky notes and a poster for everyone to share
their New Year's resolutions. At the end of the day, we
will have a poster full of COES students' resolutions for 2023! We hope to SWE you there!
SWE will be celebrating National Popcorn Day on Thursday, January 19th! We will be serving popcorn in the regular booth from 10-1 this day. We will also have toppings for the popcorn. We hope to SWE you there!
We are excited to announce that Procter and Gamble (P&G) will be coming to host an industry event on Wednesday, January 19th! P&G will be holding a "Speed Dating" style resume workshop from 2:00-4:30, which will be a come-and-go event, and then at 5:00, P&G will be giving an industry talk! This is a great way to get professional development credit, develop and
improve your resume, and learn about this industry and career path! We hope to SWE you there!
SWE will be holding a clothing and blanket drive throughout this upcoming week! Bring clothing and blanket donations to our box in the rotunda any time next week! All donations will go to the Pine Hill's Children's Advocacy Center.
The Child Advocacy Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to lessening the trauma experiences by child victims when abuse allegations are investigated. Here, victims can find caring professionals who help them through the nightmare of abuse and neglect. Within the Center, families can find support and resources - but most importantly they find a place where healing can begin.
Come treat yourself to a Blizzard and support SWE on Tuesday, January 10th! This is also a perfect post-exam treat for ENGR 121 students! We hope to SWE you there!

The Freshmen Leadership Initiative is hosting Soldering with Santa! We will be soldering reindeers out of pipe cleaners and a red LED. We will also be making cards for the COES faculty and having a Christmas sock competition!
SWE is having a tabling event in the IESB Rotunda! Be sure to stop by and grab a fortune cookie and get a prediction for your 2023!
On Wednesday, October 26th, SWE held a Banquet for Breast Cancer Awareness
We created straw towers in groups as a competition for a mentorship activity.
On Monday, October 17th, SWE held a fingerpainting event in the IESB. All proceeds from the event went to support the Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation.
SWE held a pink out event in the IESB on Monday, October 3rd in support of Breast Cancer Awarenss. We handed out pink cupcakes and pink ribbon pins to encourage students to wear pink!
On Monday, September 26th, SWE held a Newk's Night fundraiser.

Join us on the morning of Wednesday, September 10th from 8 - 10 AM for an opportunity to go over your resume with a representative from P&G! This is a great time to get feedback on your resume! The workshop will be in the IESB second floor conference room and we will have food! We hope to see you there!
In collaboration with NSBE, SWE will hold an Undergraduate Research Conference in IESB 108. This is a great opportunity to meet professors and get involved with research on campus! Make sure to RSVP using the QR code and we hope to see you there!
We are so excited to announce that our first General Body Meeting of the 2022-2023 school year will be on Wednesday, September 21st in IESB 108! The meeting will begin at 6:00 PM. On Thursday, July 28th, SWE tabled at the fourth and final Org Browse during freshmen orientation for the class of 2026. We absolutely loved getting to know all of the new bulldogs over the course of this summer, and we can't wait to see everyone around campus in the fall!
On Thursday, July 14th, SWE tabled at the Third Org Browse during freshmen orientation. We loved meeting future SWE members and we are so excited to see everyone back on campus in September!
On Thursday, July 14th, SWE held a fundraiser with Buff City Soap in Ruston from 4-7 PM! We will use this money to fund our organization! We loved seeing everyone there!
On Thursday, June 23rd, SWE tabled at the Second Org Browse during Summer 2022 freshmen orientation. We loved meeting more of the class of 2026, and we can't wait to see everyone on campus again soon!

On Thursday, May 5th, SWE freshmen competed in the ENGR 122 design showcase. We would like to congratulate all of our freshmen who competed! We are so proud of you all!
On Tuesday, May 3rd, SWE held our 2022-2023 officer elections. Congratulations to all the new officers and a huge thank you to the 2021-2022 officers. We look forward to a great year!
On Saturday, April 30, SWE held our annual "Run Like a Girl" 5K to raise money for 4Paws in Ruston. We thank everyone who ran and volunteered!
Our Freshmen Leadership Initiative (FLI) club organized a coin war between majors to support Ruston's DART center. Thank you to all who participated! The winner of the coin wars was Mechanical Engineering!
On Saturday, April 23rd, our members participated in Big Event 2022! Big Event is a college wide event where organizations participate to help better the community through acts of service. Thank you to all who participated!
