At SweetKicks, we believe your pregnancy journey is yours and yours alone. This Privacy Policy explains our approach to data: we don't want it, we don't see it, and we don't collect it.
SweetKicks is designed as an offline-first application.
Personal Information: We do not ask for, or have access to, your name, email address, phone number, or any identifying information.
Account Creation: There are no accounts, no logins, and no registrations.
Sensitive Data: Any fetal movement data (kicks) you log is stored exclusively on your device's local internal storage.
The app does not have a "backend" or cloud component.
Your data is never uploaded to a server, cloud provider, or any third party.
Important Note: Since there is no cloud sync, your data is tied to your physical device. If you delete the app or lose your phone, your data cannot be recovered by us because we never had access to it.
No Analytics: We do not use tracking tools (like Google Analytics or Firebase) to monitor how you use the app.
No Ads: SweetKicks is 100% ad-free. There are no third-party ad SDKs integrated into the app.
SweetKicks only requests the minimum permissions necessary to function. Any permissions granted are used solely to facilitate the app’s features locally on your device.
Because SweetKicks does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information from any user, we inherently comply with global privacy regulations, including the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and GDPR. We do not knowingly or unknowingly collect data from anyone, regardless of age.
Your data is protected by your device’s own security measures (passcode, biometrics, and disk encryption). We recommend using these standard smartphone features to ensure your local logs remains private.
If we update the app, this policy may be updated to reflect new local features. However, our core philosophy will not change: your data stays on your device.
