Cooper Prophet, drummer, is currently enrolled at Keene state college where he’ll continue to pursue a future career in videography and film. He’s a member of the Keene state jazz ensemble, solos in jazz classics, such as Salt Peanuts (dizzy Gillespie) and impressions (John Coltrane), are worthy mentions. Being predominantly self taught drummer, he’s found tremendous value in his private mentorship by Steve Cady and George Robinson, helping to further develop confidence, and unique style around the kit. The Scituate high school music program can be praised for their support and guidance in Cooper’s formative musical years. Through high school, he’s been able to perform with the percussion ensemble, jazz band, as well as the Scituate high school orchestral band. Family, friends, and teachers are greatly responsible for the success and growth throughout Cooper’s musical career.
