We had a short but wonderful stay here. The surroundings were beautiful and we felt right at home. The cabin was spacious and very nicely decorated. We were traveling with my elderly parents and it was very convenient to have the downstairs bedrooms and bathroom. My family could not have been happier with our stay at the cabin. If you are looking for a private location in a beautiful area, this is the right choice. Big enough to not feel cramped but small enough to feel homey. The ping-ping table and skeeball in the basement were a nice touch as well. This log cabin is gorgeous. We stayed there for three weeks and loved every minute. It was very well furnished including a skee-ball game, which was a blast. The setting there is very pretty. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the morning with a cup of coffee listening to the birds sing. Every single thing we needed was there and available for our use. We spent a lot of time in the great room enjoying the awesome leather chairs while reading a book. My wife's favorite spot was the loft, which she described as comfy. I can only imagine how beautiful it is there in the fall. Courtney is a wonderful host. We strongly recommend a stay there. ~ Chris O.

This house was BEAUTIFUL. Everything about it made you feel like you were away from it all. There was plenty to do even if you just wanted to relax. The trails were fun to walk. it was quiet and very clean. The game room was fun also. Just a really beautiful place to stay, we will be booking again in the future! ~ Melissa A.

There aren’t enough stars to say how happy we were with this house perfect from beginning to end. Short distance from our family so I go to host meals and hang out with them. 2 great areas to hang out plus a huge closed in porch where we did puzzles and a basement with a washer and dryer and all kinds of games. Beds and bedding extremely comfortable. Very private great yard and trails we didn’t have time to explore. Thanks again we will definitely be back.  ~Becky C. 

We stayed at Sweet Bears Cabin for our vow renewal and it was the absolute PERFECT place for us! We had my in laws visiting and the cabin was so accommodating in space for each of us and common areas to enjoy together as well. The four seasons room was so beautiful to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee in every morning and the surroundings of orange and golden foliage made the scenery magical every day. Courtney, (our hostess), was extremely friendly, communicative and helpful and I would reserve the cabin again in a heartbeat should we ever need a beautiful and serene getaway close to home! My dogs and I loved staying at this beautiful log cabin! It was easy to find yet private. The living room and loft were highlights, and we loved the wood-burning stove. We planned to do a day of wine-tasting nearby (including at some dog-friendly wineries) but decided to stay in that rainy day and enjoy the cabin. There are wonderful hiking trails at the Finger Lakes nearby and Courtney was a communicative, gracious host! I would definitely book this cabin again.  ~ Rowena S.

Great lodging about 20 miles south of Rochester. Super clean and comfortable cabin, highly recommended. Nice, clean bathrooms. Nice bedrooms with comfortable bedding. Quiet, private setting easy to get around to visit the local sites.  ~ Thomas C.

Courtney’s cabin is a modern, super clean, private cabin. Although there are neighbors nearby, you do not hear them or see them. Waking up to birds chirping in the morning is fabulous for these city slickers. In the evenings, we were greeted by bunny rabbits while we sipped our Finger Lake wine samples in the gazebo. And when it got darker outside, we went to the all season room to finish our wine. Loved that this room was screened so we could open the window and feel the summer breeze. At night, the top bedroom and lounge area was perfect for stargazing and watching the fireflies. The cabin has all the modern amenities if you’d like to cook and was spotless. The location of the cabin is perfect for daytrips to Seneca lake, Naples, Rochester. We loved having breakfast at Brady J’s in Bloomfield. Loved going to Canandaigua for breakfast and dinners. Special shout out to Bon Ami French Bistro, Rose Tavern at the lake house, and Nolan’s on Canandaigua. Hike on Rob’s trail! Perfect trip!  ~Arlene Z.

Beautiful little getaway cabin near the Finger Lakes!! Me and my husband went for just a little weekend away from home. The cabin was clean and looked exactly like the photos showed.
