Privacy Policy for BeatDown
Effective date: October 3, 2026
BeatDown is a virtual reality game made by Sweet And Sour Games ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the game collects and how it is used.
What we collect
- Your Meta user ID and gamer tag (your Meta Horizon profile name)
- Your in-game scores, such as song, difficulty, score and grade
We do not collect your real name, email address, location, voice, photos, payment details, or body and movement tracking data. The game contains no ads and no third-party analytics.
How we use it
We use your user ID, gamer tag and scores for one purpose: to show scores on the in-game scoreboards. Your gamer tag and scores may be visible to other players on shared scoreboards.
Sharing
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with third parties, except where required by law. Scoreboard data is stored using Meta's platform services.
How long we keep it
We keep scoreboard data for as long as the scoreboards are active, or until you ask us to delete it.
Deleting your data
To have your scoreboard data deleted, email YOUR-EMAIL with your gamer tag. We will delete it within 30 days.
Children
BeatDown is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.
Meta's own data practices
BeatDown runs on Meta Quest devices. Meta collects and processes data under its own privacy policies, which we do not control.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
