Tournament FAQs:

Q. How many games do you play in each match?

A. This tournament will use the best of 3 format (first to 2 wins).

Q. What happens if a game ends in a draw?

A. There will be no draws for this tournament. Any game that ends in a draw will not be counted and a new game will be played.

The person who started the drawn game, will also start the new game.

Q. The Standing are not correct! What's going on?

A. The standings have been improved to account for players that have not play any matches.

The standings need to be updated manually in case more that two players are tied or if players with matching win percentages have not yet played each other. Standings will be manually updated a few times a day. I don't have an exact time on that, it will be whenever Croutonman (Joe) has time.

Q. How will more 3 or more way ties be broken?

A. A 3 or more way tie will be broken by who ever has the best win percentage.

For example In Group 1, players 1, 2 and 3 are tied for the top spot. The tiebreaker will go to the player with highest win percentage between these 3 players only. Whoever has the highest win percentage takes the top spot, then the second spot goes to the player with the better win percentage of the remaing players. In case there is still a tie amongst game win percentages, head to head records will be used.

Q. How will T16 playoff seeding work?

A. All group winners will be the 1-8 seeds and the second place group people will make up the 9-16 seeds. Group winners and second place players will be seeded by Match Win % for each group. The next tiebreaker will be Game Win %, then head to head if needed.

Q. This looks funny when veiwing on my phone.

A. This has been designed entirely on a laptop, with that in mind. Improvements will be made to the look and feel as we go.

If using a mobile device to view this, do so in landscape view. Also works best with Google Sheets app.

Q. Do I need to submit a deck photo? If so, when?

A. Not to start with. Submissions are due before the start of the T16 round. Photos can be submitted to: sorcererprodigal@gmail.com

Q. At what point do I need my final deck ready? Can I change my deck or part of my deck after 19th April?

A. Your decklist will be set once you begin your first official match on or after 19th April. You cannot make any decklist changes after your first match.
