What is this?

I am an aging Swedish man with a background in business and politics. I have previously been involved in the Swedish Green Party and am particularly interested in reforming our economic system.

About 10 years ago I became so fed up with how impossible it was to even get a debate going on the really important issues. And, as many other engaged people, I was so fed up with all the trolls and nasty posts on social media. So I ended my involvement both in real life and on the internet.

Now I am older and have more time. In addition, I see an even greater need for a debate about what society should look like in the future. I see no need to open a separate domain this time. I will just use the tools I have available. As I said, I have become older. I intend to use this site not only for my thoughts about society but also for other things that give me pleasure, such as music, nature, art, etc. A diary for the soul

Why in english?

I am swedish, so why not write in swedish? There actually are good reasons to do this in english. First of all. A lot of my friends and contacts don't speak swedish. Secondly, the reach is much better in english than in swedish. I am also very interested in international issues so... English.

Last but not least. Almost all swedish people know english. And if there is anyone who doesn't... there is always google translate.
