At Swavesey Badminton Club Juniors, the safety and well-being of our members is our top priority. We are committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable environment for all players, coaches, and volunteers.
We fully adhere to Badminton England’s Safeguarding Policy, ensuring that the highest standards of care and protection are upheld within our club. This includes promoting good practice, ensuring appropriate behaviour, and responding swiftly and appropriately to any concerns.

Our Club Welfare Officer, Helen Taylor, plays a vital role in ensuring that all members enjoy a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment.
Helen is the first point of contact for any safeguarding concerns or questions you may have. Her role includes:
Ensuring the club adheres to Badminton England's Safeguarding Policy.
Providing guidance and support to players, parents, and volunteers.
Responding to any concerns about the welfare of children or young people within the club.
Ensuring all coaches and volunteers have the appropriate training and safeguarding checks
