Research Topic: Geometric Group Theory, Left-orderable Group, Mapping Class Group
I am broadly interested in Geometric group theory. My main area of research are Quasi-isometry rigidity, Geometry and topology, Group theory. In particular, I am interested in studying the Quasi-isometry group and characterizing some dynamical properties of that group like left-orderability, torsion-free, locally indicability, and action on the line, etc. As well as now I am exploring Mapping class group, Teichmuller theory and Hyperbolic geometry focusing on Quasi-isometry.

Currently, I am an Institute Post-Doctoral Fellow under the mentorship of Prof. Kashyap Rajeevsarathy in the Department of Mathematics at IISER Bhopal. Before that I was an Associate Professor in the Department of Basic Science and Humanities at Institute of Engineering & Management, Kolkata. I have completed my Ph.D under the supervision of Dr. Prateep Chakraborty in the Department of Mathematics at Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur. I received my M.Sc. from the Department of Pure Mathematics, University of Calcutta and I got my bachelor's in Mathematics from the Vivekananda College, Thakurpukur, University of Calcutta.
