What is the teaching method?
I teach each concept clearly and intuitively. I work through 1–2 examples, and then students solve problems on the board with immediate correction. Before school exams, students take a mock test to build confidence and accuracy.
How are classes conducted?
Classes are conducted online on Zoom. A touchscreen laptop or iPad with a stylus is required so students can write and solve problems during class.
Can classes be recorded?
Yes. Classes can only be recorded on a computer. I recommend recording the sessions — they are extremely helpful for reviewing concepts later. By attending the classes, you are giving consent to be recorded.
How will I receive the Zoom details?
The meeting ID and password will be sent to you via private message before the first class.
Is there homework?
Yes — about 15 minutes after each class. Students write a short summary of what they learned and complete 2–3 practice questions. This reinforces understanding without overwhelming them.
Do students get test preparation?
Yes. Before school exams, students take a mock test to strengthen accuracy, speed, and confidence.
What is your policy for missed group classes?
If your child is absent, a class recording will be provided. The class fee still applies. Please ensure your child reviews the recording and completes the homework before the next session.
Do you follow fixed schedules?
Yes. Classes run on set days and times. Alternate days — including weekends — are not available.
What if my child’s school teaches chapters out of order?
I follow the FUSD textbook sequence. If your child’s school is out of sync, I provide videos or temporary private sessions to keep them aligned.
What if a class temporarily drops below 2 students?
I offer instructional videos (fees apply) or temporary private classes (private class rates apply), so learning continues without interruption. Once the group returns to two or more students, regular group classes resume.
What is your cancellation policy for private (extra) classes?
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations will be charged in full. This policy is strictly enforced to avoid last‑minute disruptions.
Where can I read reviews?
You can read testimonials directly on the Home page. I’ve also included a link to my Nextdoor recommendations, where many parents have shared detailed feedback about their experience. You can also learn more about my background on LinkedIn.
