After School Programs (ASP)

ASP Flyer Winter 2024

The PTO administers 3 sessions of an After School Program at the Swampscott Middle School that is open to grades 5th – 8th, unless specified. Each class has its cost listed in the description on the flyer and in the “Class Registration” portion of the online form.

Classes will meet once a week after school dismissal and will run for 1 hour 2:45-3:45 pm.* No classes will be held on holidays, school snow days, or early release school days. Classes missed for these reasons or teacher absence will be made up according to teacher schedules. (*Please note: D&D classes will run for 2 hours from 2:45-4:45 pm.)

Each class requires a minimum of 6 registered students in order to run. Classes will be filled as registrations are received on a first come first served basis. Each class also has a maximum number of students that is set by the instructor. Your student may sign up for more than one class.

Prior to your student’s first class, you will be emailed class dates, location, and other details. Late registrations may be accepted, space permitting. Registration fees will not be adjusted for classes a student has missed.

Financial aid is available. Please direct any questions to the ASP Coordinators at smsafterschool@gmail.com
