Syahril Siregar is an independent researcher working on data analysis and software development. He completed his PhD at Graduate School of Biomedical Engineering, Tohoku University in 2018. His research interests are Biomedical Signal and Image processing, data analysis, Spectroscopic Imaging, the Internet of Things (IoT), and machine learning. After finishing his PhD, He started working at Lund University from 2018-2020.
He has a deep interest in computational science. Most of his research is supported by theoretical calculation using wide aspects of numerical methods. Currently, he is developing the software for flood simulation in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Works and Housing. He was also asked to analyze the Covid-19 daily new cases data to estimate the end of the second wave in Indonesia.
If you want to develop scientific software with a user-friendly Graphical User Interface, you can contact him by email or homepage: https://sites.google.com/view/syahril-siregar/
He can also translate Fortran subroutine to Python and use python as "glue". Furthermore, he is able to develop scientific software from scratch.
