Research Overview
My core research agenda centers around creating meaning of life where competition (i.e. natural selection- our biological reality) exists, but its negative effects are countered in a consistent and reproducible manner by something. During my PhD research project, I have uncovered the first layer of this something by discovering three principles that must be considered in every human action choice, if flourishing of all forms of life is the humanities goal. I am now exploring how these principles can be embedded in every conscious or unconscious decision and choice made by human beings? I understand that a comprehensive answer to this question will set the foundations for discovering new meanings of life, where the whole earth system network will evolve positively
My true identity in the real physical world (where everything is connected as part of Earth System Network)
I am a biological living system. In technical terms - a dissipative, intermediate structure, maintaining self-organization, just like you, belonging to the same human species set. I am always busy receiving and actively sending signals to other living systems by creating languagized sound signals or visual motor signals, or by creating other signal sources made up of non-living things (e.g. written pieces, waste). The only thing that makes me uniquely different from you is my structural evolution, the deterministic portion of which is embedded as memory in my nervous system as a set of probabilistic patterns of signal exchange between neurons in the neural network, whenever stimulation is received from the environment. Me typing these words to you is an actual example of all this happening.
My dynamic temporary identity in simulated world (where I am identified as a distinct being in connection with certain labels that describe my structural evolution)
Born in 1982, Male, Indian, Brown skinned, father of a beautiful 10-year-old daughter and husband to a lovely wife, residing in Hong Kong, about to finish my PhD in sustainability stream at the School of Energy and Environment, City University of Hong Kong. I work as a senior consultant in a pharmaceutical company in Hong Kong, and as a part-time lecturer in the Department of Accounting, Economics and Finance at Hong Kong Baptist University. I have done Bachelors in Biochemical Engineering, Masters in Business Administration with specialization in Operations and Marketing, and I have more than 15 years of work experience in the life science industrial sector with expertise in domains of quality, manufacturing and compliance.
I can engage over a variety of topics, from Philosophy to Ecology, to sociology, to thermodynamics, to neuroscience, to Economics in the context of sustainability and collective humanities problems. My research is interdisciplinary, so I had to go through many fields to discover absolute truth about our existence. That resulted in forming my life goal, which is to extend the theory that I have developed and maximize its potential to implement the solutions aiming towards switching the trajectory of Earth System Network from Negative to Positive evolution.
