Some of the inspired old students of our school got together and formed an association called, “S.V.V.HIGH SCHOOL, OLD STUDENTS’ ASSOCIATION”. It was registered as S.R.No – 234 of 1996. Ever since it's establishment, the association has been very active and has been functioning dynamically. The sole aim of our association is to encourage and motivate students to study well and to inculcate values.

Many of our old students donated funds generously to the association. The Patrons whose names are given hereunder have donated Rs. 25,000/- each or even more. 136 Life members have donated Rs. 3,000/- each and ordinary members have contributed Rs.100/- each.

Sri. Venkateswara Reddy, used to present a Gold Medal in the name of his mother, Srimati. Marella Hanumayamma to the meritorious student of class X every year. Later, many of our old students donated generously to our association. We have deposited the funds (seed capital) so received in the banks as deposits. The interest that was accrued on these deposits has been utilized for the welfare programmes of students every year. The seed capital is not touched, but only the interest so generated is utilized to encourage and motivate students to do well in studies.

The welfare measures include:

1. Giving cash prizes to the best students of Classes VI to X,

2. Providing School Uniforms to the students,

3. Offering financial help to the school management to support them in their efforts,

4. Financial aid to the students coming from poor families for their higher studies.

5. We have been spending Rs. 60,000 to Rs. 70,000/- by way of scholarships, every year, for the welfare of our students.

6. We have been felicitating our teachers on the Teachers’ Day as a mark of respect and honour to them.

We have successfully celebrated Golden Jubilee Celebrations of our school in the year 1995 by inviting Dr. Kodela Siva Prasad, the Cabinet Minister of A.P. as a Chief Guest. With the same inspiration, we have successfully celebrated our Diamond Jubilee Celebrations in the year 2005. Sri. Rayapati Sambasiva Rao, Vidwan Sri. Gogineni Kanakaiah (Late),Dr. Rayapati Srinivas, Secretary & Correspondent of S.V.V. High School, Sri. Goddanti Ranga Rao(Late), and the staff of our school have helped us in our efforts.

A stainless steel pylon which was the commemorative monument was unveiled in Dec, 2005 by His Excellency, Sri. Sushil Kumar Shinde, The then Governor of A.P. This pylon will stand as a reminder of our untiring work for the welfare of our school and the  students for the generations to come.

We are happy and proud to say that we are also celebrating Platinum Jubilee Celebrations on 24.12.2021 with the help of Platinum Jubilee Celebrations Committee. The committee consists of

6. Vice-President and Other Members of the Old Students’ Association.

On this occasion, we are planning to lay foundation stone for a G+2 Platinum Jubilee building consisting of the following facilities in the school premises with the generous help from the Old Stufdents’ Association, and the School Committee. 

1. Class rooms - 8, 

2. Science Labs - 3, 

3. Computer Labs - 2,

4. Maths Lab - 1 

5. Multipurpose Auditorium - 1 

This is also going to stand as a vibrant witness and monument for the generations to come to the untiring efforts of our Old Students’ Association.
