Sunset Vans Giveaway


Begins on October 15, 2026 at 7 p.m. PST and ends on October 19, 2026 at 12 p.m. PST


How to enter: To enter each potential Participant must perform the actions listed: 1. Like the post, 2. Follow us on Instagram or Facebook, 3. Tag a friend in the comments (more comments = more entries). Extra, but not required to enter: for 2 extra entries, repost to story. No purchase necessary, purchasing a product from sunset Vans does not increase the chances of winning.


Entries must be completed by 12 p.m. PST on October 19, 2026, 


More entries increase the chances to be selected at random. Winner chosen at random. 


Eligibility Rules: This giveaway is only open to legal residents and physically located in the 50 United States of America and are of the legal age of 18 at the time of entry. 


Past or current employees of Sunset Vans are not eligible for giveaway. 


This content is void where prohibited or restricted by law. 


Winner Selection: 1 winner will be chosen at random and contacted on October 20, 2026, via DM and/or through our Instagram story. The winner will sign a release form stating in writing that they are accepting the prize gift. If unable to sign the form, the winner forfeits the prize gift and another participant will be chosen or if the winner does not respond within a reasonable time period (24 hours) the winner forfeits the prize. *Instagram account must be set to public to be considered.


Prizes: Winner will receive: 


Sunset Vans reserves the right to modify or substitute the prizes with alternatives. Substitutions shall be made at Sunset Vans sole discretion and may be made at any time, with or without notice. 


Winner acknowledges that they are ultimately responsible for all federal, state, or local taxes due in relation to the prizes. All prizes are awarded “as is” with no warranty, guarantee or representations, either expressed or implied by Sunset Vans. All use, cost, or expenses not specified herein are the sole responsibility of the prize recipient. All prizes are non-transferable and non-assignable, with no cash redemptions or substitutions. 


Media Release: Winners agree that Sunset Vans can use their name, username, and likeness as part of their marketing and advertising efforts and in connection with the awarding of the prize. Participants agree if they win the prize Sunset Vans can use any related content regarding the prize/giveaway on their page including but not limited to reposts or screenshots. 


Prize Claim: After 1 potential winner is chosen at random selection, Sunset Vans will notify the winner via Instagram DM and/or by announcing winner on a public story. Sunset Vans is not responsible for undelivered messages, DM’s or other communications, including because of selected winners privacy settings, spam filter settings, or other technical issues of any social media site, platform, and program. 


The selected potential winners shall have 24 hours from the time Sunset Vans first attempt to notify the Participant to respond to Sunset Vans. 


After acknowledging receipt of Sunset Vans notification with a follow up response, the potential winner will have 48 hours to provide any requested information as deemed necessary by Sunset Vans. Failure to do so shall result in the forfeiture of the prize and a new potential winner will be selected. 


Once requested information is received Sunset Vans will verify the potential winner's eligibility. If Sunset Vans determines that the winner has not compiled with all the rules of the contents and is ineligible to win, a new potential winner will be selected. 


The prize claiming process will be repeated until a winner is selected and awarded. 


The winner will be announced on October 20, 2026. 


If not local to Corona, CA where prize gifts can be acquired through pickup, prizes will be shipped in the mail, therefore requiring the winner to provide Sunset Vans with a full valid U.S. address. If unable to provide Sunset Vans with a valid U.S. address, the selected winner forfeits the prize and another winner will be selected.


Distribution of Prizes: Sunset Vans is not responsible for the misuse of any prizes. Sunset Vans is not responsible for any outcomes outside of its control including but not limited to prize malfunctions, misuse of prizes, or defects of prizes. 


Warranty: By entering the Giveaway, each Participant represents, warrants and covenants that (a) each entry complies in all respects with the entry restrictions and these official rules, and (b) the Participant has the right and power to enter the content and perform all the Giveaway obligations. 


Privacy: By participating in the Giveaway, each Participant authorizes Sunset Vans to collect, use, process, transfer, and store all data provided by such Participant, including without limitation personal data, in and to the United States or any location(s) throughout the world that Sunset Vans deems necessary, whether within Participant’s country of residence or elsewhere, and with such party/parties as Sunset Vans deems appropriate, for purposes of administration of the Giveaway. All information submitted to Sunset Vans as part of this Giveaway will be treated in accordance with Sunset Vans’ privacy statement, available at https://www.sunsetvans.com/privacy-policy/. Personal information will be used only to: (a) provide information about the Giveaway; (b) contact and publicize potential winners. Participants may be given the option to receive commercial e-mails from Sunset Vans; however, eligibility to participate in the Giveaway is not dependent upon the Participant’s consent to receive such emails.


Release and Limitation on Liability: By participating in the Giveaway, Participants agree to release and hold harmless Sunset Vans and each of its respective affiliates, sales representatives, distributors, licensees, agents, advertising and Giveaway agencies, and all directors, trustees, officers and employees of any of the foregoing entities (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Giveaway, or receipt or use of any prize, including, but not limited to: (a) unauthorized human intervention in the Giveaway; (b) technical errors related to computers, servers, providers, or telephone or network lines; (c) printing errors; (d) lost, late, misdirected, incorrect, garbled, or incompletely received entries; (e) errors in the administration of the Giveaway or the processing of entries; (f) injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from Participant's participation in the Giveaway or acceptance, receipt, use, or misuse of any prize and (g) any claims based on publicity rights, copyright/trademark infringement, intellectual property rights, defamation or invasion of privacy and merchandise delivery. In the event that Participant breaches any of these Official Rules, Released Parties shall be entitled to and may seek indemnification from Participant for recovery of all legal fees, damages, costs, claims and other expenses that may be incurred by Released Parties as a result of the aforementioned breach. Participant further agrees to release the Released Parties and their designees and assigns from any liability whatsoever, and waive any and all causes of action, for any claims, costs, injuries, losses and damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the Giveaway or acceptance, possession, or use of any prize (including, without limitation, attorneys’ fees, claims, costs, personal injuries, losses and damages related to personal injuries, death, damage to or destruction or property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation or portrayal in a false light, whether intentional or unintentional), whether under a theory of contract, tort (including negligence), warranty or other theory. Sunset Vans is not responsible if any prize cannot be awarded due to delays or interruptions due to acts of God, acts of war, natural disasters, weather or acts of terrorism.


Miscellaneous:  The decisions of Sunset Vans are final with respect to all aspects of this Giveaway. Sunset Vans’ systems shall be the sole determiner of time in regard to any deadlines or time requirements of the Giveaway. The Giveaway and these Official Rules will be governed, construed and interpreted under the laws of the State of California, without regard to choice of law principles. Except where prohibited, each Participant agrees that: (1) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Giveaway or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the applicable state or federal courts situated in California; (2) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Giveaway but in no event attorneys’ fees; (3) under no circumstances will Participant be permitted to obtain awards for punitive, incidental, special, consequential or other damages, including without limitation, lost profits, (collectively, “Special Damages”); and (4) Participant hereby waives all rights to claim Special Damages and all rights to have such damages multiplied or increased. The releases hereunder are intended to apply to all claims not known or suspected to exist with the intent of waiving the effect of laws requiring the intent to release future unknown claims. In the event that the operation, security, or administration of the Giveaway is impaired in any way for any reason, including, but not limited to fraud, virus, or other technical problems, or any condition caused by events beyond the reasonable control of Sunset Vans that may cause the Giveaway to be disrupted or corrupted, Sunset Vans may, in its sole discretion, either: (a) suspend the Giveaway to address the impairment and then resume the Giveaway in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these Official Rules; or (b) award the prize from among the non suspect, eligible entries received up to the time of the impairment. Sunset Vans reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process, the operation of the Giveaway, to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or any applicable laws relating to the Giveaway, or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, and to resolve all disputes in its sole discretion. Any attempt by any person to undermine the legitimate operation of the Giveaway may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Sunset Vans reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sunset Vans’ failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
