How do I sign up?

Click on the SignUp Genius link above to sign up for an open spot. 

Do I need any experience?

No, you do not need any experience. A Sports Booster member will make sure the concession stand is open and get you started. Please note: Those handling money must be able to add prices and count back change. 

I want to volunteer, but I don't want to miss my athlete play.

No worries! We encourage parents to sign up for other sports than their athlete's sport, so parents don't miss their own athlete play. There are many opportunities! 

My child needs volunteer hours. Is there an age limit for students who would like to sign up?

Middle School students are welcome to volunteer. However, they must be accompanied by an adult. (Students under the age of 14 will not be able to handle food or hot items.)

High school students over the age of 14 are welcome to volunteer without a parent present.

What time should I arrive?

Please arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of the game to get set up. 

What is expected of me?

• You will set up and prep food before the start of the game. For some events, grilling is required.

• During the game, you will be responsible for selling food, drinks, chips, snacks, candy. What is sold will depend on the sport, expected crowd size, and number of volunteers.

• After closing the stand, you will put everything away and clean before leaving. 

What if I need to cancel?

Please cancel your spot on SignUp Genius as soon as possible, so that someone else can fill your spot.
