Rules & Regulations

• The Departmental library will remain open for issuing books only during weekdays (Mon-Fri) from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM (No book will be issued on Friday from 2 pm to 4:30 pm). However, the common room will remain open all the time.
• Students can issue library books only for a period of 1 week. One can issue library books by paying an amount of Rs. 200/- as deposit, which will be returned after the borrower returns the book. A student can issue only 1 book at a time.
• The borrower will be fined an amount of Rs. 10 per day, if he/she fails to return the book on the due date.
• Issuance of books will be stopped 10 days before the Mid-Sem and 15 days before End-Sem exams respectively.
• Students are encouraged to use the library books in the departmental library & Common room without issuing it. No fees will be charged to use the books without issuing it.
