Nearly a thousand names of men and one woman are recorded on the war memorials, situated in Green Park in Heckmondwike and Memorial Park in Cleckheaton, of those who died as a result of involvement in the Great War. Over the four year period August 2014 to November 2018 every Friday we published a list of those who died in the corresponding 7 day period 100 years previously.
