SVGS Green Initiative is a student-run environmental consulting agency. We work with local businesses to help them become more eco-friendly and save money through our consultations and certification process.
In the Winter of 2018, we launched our business, SVGS Green Initiative. As part of our Senior Capstone at the Shenandoah Valley Governor's School, we were to create a business, and we wanted to do something meaningful, so we thought doing something that could benefit the environment would be a good place to start. SVGS Green Initiative was founded by Lauren Highfield, Sean Fridley, Hannah Chatterton, Anna Brule, Isaiah Knopp, and Drew Bond.
SVGS Green Initiative will become a class at the Shenandoah Valley Governor's School after the 2019 school year.
We would like to thank Debbie Irwin at the Staunton Creative Community Fund for helping us with the creation of our business. Please check out SCCF's website: SCCF
