My work focuses on the cognitive and neural processes that allow us to speak or write. More specifically, I am interested in studying how language modalities relate with each other and with other cognitive functions such as motor control. I use a combination of behavioral and neurophysiological experiments to study language production. My recent projects are looking at the commonalities and specificities of oral and written language production.
I currently work as an Assistant Professor at the University of Lille, France, and conduct research at the SCALab. Previously, I worked as a Staff Scientist at the BCBL, Basque Centre of Cognition, Brain and Language in San Sebastian, Spain, under the Ikerbasque Research Fellow scheme. Before that, I spent three years as a postdoctoral fellow at Johns Hopkins University, after graduating from Aix-Marseille University, and Ecole Normale Supérieure de Cachan.
