Desirable Qualifications and Skills
Proficient in structural engineering. A background in structural fire engineering is desirable.
Strong interest and experience in conducting material and structural testing, including expertise in test setup, specimen fabrication, and data acquisition.
Experienced in finite element modeling using software such as ANSYS, ABAQUS, OpenSees, or other equivalent software. Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., MATLAB, Python, FORTRAN) is a plus.
Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
Committed to publishing research findings through articles and presentations. Previous publications are a plus.
Strong enthusiasm for the group's research initiatives. Please go through Research to better understand the group's previous work.
