This is mentioned to be the first of meeting of newly established EWB INDIA and IUCEE student chapters
The Student members have been appreciated for their interest to join this student chapter to achieve overall development in engineering degree through performing community projects
The role of EWB INDIA Professional and Student chapters in society are explained to students
The activities done by the existing student chapters are mentioned to students
The Student officers are been elected and the details are mentioned below:
President: Hitesh Vittal, IV-BTech. CSE
Vice President: Vinay Kumar, IV BTech. EEE
Secretary: Uday Radhesh, III BTech. EIE
Treasurer: Naveen Kumar, III BTech. ECE
The 14 Grand Challenges are explained to students and are advised to work on the below mentioned challenges:
Air Pollution
Education Augmentation
Energy Resources
Sanitation Facilities
Students are advised to work on identifying the needs of people in nearby localities for the above-mentioned challenges by filling the survey form and shall meet after two weeks for discussion of projects to be taken by the chapter for the academic year
