1969 DWEA Objectives
To encourage and assist schools in every way possible to attain their common and specific educational objectives and purposes with greater distinction.
- To assist school administrators with the ASSOCIATION to evaluate the educational standards.
To foster unity and strength among the schools in educational matters through mutual understanding, cooperation and assistance in purpose, direction and action.
- To work toward integrating the educational efforts of its schools in the framework of the specific needs and development program of the country and of the general region and particular locality where they are situated.
- To assist individual schools in every way possible in their relations with the Department of Education, the Bureau of Private schools and other public and private agencies, educational and non-educational.
- To support the Catholic Education Association of the Philippines and to cooperate fully with it in realizing its purposes and policies in the schools of the Association.
- To encourage and assist its schools by striving to acquire and maintain financial assistance for the purchase, maintenance, improvement and development of land, buildings, facilities, equipment and materials for the the educational purposes of the Association itself and the schools thereof as well as for the constant improvement and development of the administration, faculty, instruction, research, community and students services of all kinds in the schools of the Association and, in general, of all curricular and extra-curricular activities and programs in harmony in any way with the general and/or specific objectives of an individual school of the Association and of the Association itself.
- To promote, conduct, support and finance appropriate studies, seminars, discussions, conferences, forums and researches and other similar pursuits and activities with respect to education for the schools of the Association and to record, distribute, perpetuate and finance the results of such studies and researches through publications and other media of communication.
- To provide, maintain and give travel aids to the schools and Office of the Association and to any qualified member of the Administration and faculty of such schools and Association Office, to attend conferences, seminars, workshops, observations, tours, meetings and other similar activities with respect to education field anywhere.
- In general, to do and perform all acts and things directly or indirectly necessary suitable or proper for the accomplishment of any of the purposes or the attainment of any or more of the objectives hereto enumerate, or which shall appear at any time conducive to or expedient for the Association.
