I am Vaibhav Sharma, a PhD scholar at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, specializing in high-energy astrophysics. My research interests include X-ray binaries, transients, accretion physics, jet and AGN outflows, with experience in spectral and timing analysis of these celestial systems. Strong expertise in programming and data analysis supports my research, with proficiency in multiple X-ray satellite data analyses, including AstroSat, NICER, XMM-Newton, XRISM, Chandra, and NuSTAR.

My academic journey has been recognized through several prestigious awards, including CSIR-JRF (AIR 220), IIT-JAM (AIR 49), and JEST (AIR 56). Leadership roles at IIT Kanpur have further enabled me to contribute to student welfare initiatives and extracurricular activities.
