How does it work?

Gameplay

1. Beat a puzzle by getting all numbers to 9 (or 99 in later levels).

2. You do this by dragging your number tile, for example a tile with a value of 1, from the bottom of the screen onto the grid.

3. The row and column on which you drop a tile will increase by 1. If all numbers in the 3x3 grid are 9, you win!

4. If you go past 9, you lose the puzzle and can retry it.

5. You have unlimited undos and retries.

6. If you beat a puzzle without any undos or retries, you get 3 stars.

7. If you perform an undo, you lose 1 star.

8. If you do a retry, you lose 2 stars.

9. Check your progress against others on the leaderboard. Try and nail a perfect score.

10. Each playthrough of the game is unique. The puzzles are randomly generated and ramp up in difficulty gradually.

"Locked" 9s

In later levels, some of the 9s are "locked". This means you can drop a numbered tile either on that 9 or an adjacent number and it will NOT increase the value of the locked 9. This presents some unique challenges and opportunities to beat a puzzle.
