Hi, I'm Mrs. Valdez and I teach fifth grade! This is my third year teaching at Eagle Ridge Elementary School. I have taught kindergarten, first, second and fifth grade as well as K-5 ESL. I am a graduate of Northern Arizona University and UCCS. I have resided in Illinois, Arizona, California and now Colorado.

I have an amazing, patient husband and three beautiful children who I love and adore. My oldest son is in Wisconsin chasing his dreams, my middle son will be a sophomore at Clear Creek High School, and my youngest is plunging into third grade.

I love teaching! And, I absolutely love being a part of the Eagle Ridge family. I look forward to coming to work everyday and being with these incredible kids. They bring me joy, and watching them develop and discover who they are as the year passes is an indescribable feeling that not many people get to witness. Thank you for allowing me the privilege to teach your child this year. It is a team effort and I thank you in advance for all of the hard work and support you give; I could not do this job without you.
