AI_PREMie
I was a core member of the AI_PREMie team. We aimed to build a tool that assesses the pre-eclampsia risk based on circulating biomarkers in the plasma of pregnant mothers. This could potentially help clinicians' decision-making when faced with a potential case of pre-eclampsia as to whether early delivery is necessary. The team was led by Prof. Patricia Maguire and included leading clinicians from Dublin hospitals, computer scientists, biochemists and business experts. I was responsible for the statistical analysis, and I worked closely with Dr Paulina Szklanna, Prof. Brian MacNamee and John Curran from SAS, to build the predictive model.
