The Suva SUPers is a collective that gather daily and paddle in Suva’s Laucala Bay area.
Some have been SUPing for a number of years and some are novices, but we are united by our love for the ocean and passion for Stand-Up-Paddleboarding.
**Suva SUPers Collective – Code of Conduct** We Respect the Ocean – it is full of life, it is alive, it is powerful and it is fragile....
We Respect Each Other – We practice Gender Equality and commit to a safe environment for children. We do not condone violence in any form.
We promote tolerance and respect for all people and the natural environment....
We Care for the Ocean – We take only photos and memories, we leave it cleaner than we found it....
We SUP for the Vibe – We receive the positive energy from the ocean and we share it with each other....
We SUP Safe – We take the weather, sea conditions and safety of our fellow SUPers seriously....
Everyone makes it back. If there are novice SUPers or someone is new to the Laucala Bay area we recommend an experienced SuvaSUPer accompany them....
Stay with the other paddlers, you will always find someone who is happy to paddle at your pace (fast or slow)....
We SUP Informed – All SuvaSUPers will inform the collective by message when they go out and return as a safety protocol (and just in case someone would like to head out as well)....
All Care Given But No Responsibility Taken – SuvaSUPers does not accept liability for any paddler. Individuals joining a club session or event must understand and accept the risks associated with the sport.
