My research work at IISER Thiruvananthapuram focuses on various aspects of physical organic chemistry, specifically investigating the effects of light on organic molecules. One of our primary interests is monitoring single-molecule fluorescence and probing molecules using ultrafast transient absorption spectroscopic techniques. Our unique approach combines the synthesis of novel and diverse molecular architectures, the investigation and regulation of ultrafast processes, and a deep exploration of the theoretical underpinnings of these phenomena. I actively participate in national and international scientific meetings and conferences, fostering strong professional connections and potential future collaborations.
