Andrew Bernier, Ph.D
Andrew Bernier is a Senior Sustainability Fellow at Arizona State University. He has taught and designed sustainability classes at ASU, University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point, and Paradise Valley Community College. He build and taught a four year comprehensive sustainability STEM program at a Title-1 high school in Phoenix, AZ. He started his career teaching middle school science as part of the Teach for America program. He also had a 2-year stint as a science correspondent for NPR member station KJZZ. He holds a Ph.D. in Sustainability Education from Prescott College and M.Ed. in Secondary Education from ASU. Connect with him on LinkedIn.

Julia Colbert, MA
Julia Colbert is a Master of Arts graduate from Arizona State University's School of Sustainability. Her main focus is K-12 sustainability and environmental education. Prior to pursuing a master’s degree, Julia received a Bachelor of Arts in Sustainability, Bachelor of Arts in Geography, and Certificate in Environmental Education from Arizona State University. Her undergraduate honors thesis was focused on a tool she created for educators to evaluate the current state of sustainability at their schools. During her time as an undergraduate at ASU, Julia interned with the Sustainability Teachers’ Academy and was a Research Aide for the Decision Center for a Desert City.
