THE LIFE OF YOUR BOTTLE
Have you ever thought about where a PLASTIC BOTTLE comes from?
It all starts with OIL, a substance found underground. This oil is processed to make PLASTIC, which then becomes the bottle. To produce just 1 LITER OF BOTTLED WATER , it takes about 3 LITERS OF WATER and a lot of energy. Surprisingly, worldwide only about 30 out of 100 bottles are RECYCLED. The rest end up in OCEANS🌊, RIVERS🏞️, or LANDFILLS, where they can stay for HUNDREDS OF YEARS without disappearing.
This has big consequences for NATURE. FISH, TURTLES🐢, BIRDS🐦⬛, and other animals can accidentally eat pieces of plastic. This can make them sick or even cause death. Tiny pieces of plastic, called MICROPLASTIC, can get into the FOOD🍕 and WATER💦 we drink every day, which can be DANGEROUS FOR OUR HEALTH😷.
But not everything is bad! There are many SOLUTIONS. We can use REUSABLE BOTTLES, CUPS🥤, and BAGS🛍️ made from materials that BREAK DOWN EASLY, so they do not pollute. Companies can create new products that are safer for the environment and provide NEW JOBS for people.
Governments can also help. They can make SPECIAL LAWS to reduce SINGLE-USE plastics, require people and companies to RECYCLE MORE, and teach everyone the importance of PROTECTING THE PLANET🌏.
If we all learn about the life of a bottle, we can make better choices every day: PROTECT NATURE🌷, STAY HELTHIER, RECYCLE PROPERLY♻️, and make the world a cleaner and safer place for animals and people. Even a single bottle can teach us how important it is to TAKE CARE OF OUR PLANET.
