The NYAA Singapore works closely in partnership of The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation. The internationally recognised Award is designed to encourage and motivate young people between the ages of 14 and 25 to develop personal qualities of self-reliance, perseverance and a sense of responsibility to themselves, society and the nation.

- Successful applicants will be awarded the prestigious National Youth Achievement Award.
- The NYAA Award is an International Award for Achievement and is known around the world.
- More than 130 countries operate the Award Programme under different titles. It helps in 3 ways:
- It helps you discover interests and talents which you never knew you had
- It gives you a certificate and a badge as a record of your achievements
- It is supported by both government and industry.
Pre-requisite
Pre-requisite
- There are 3 levels of the Award in which you can participate – Bronze, Silver and Gold, with each successive level requiring a greater level of commitment and determination.
- All awards must be completed before the participant’s 25th birthday, whereby all activities and projects must be carried out before then.
- Within each level, you are required to complete various non-competitive activities in the areas of Service, Adventurous Journey, Skills, Physical Recreation and Residential Project (for Gold Award participants only).
