The Southern Sussex County Community Action Group is a non-partisan coalition of communities located in unincorporated areas of southern Sussex County.
To address common issues of unincorporated communities in southern Sussex County that
impact the quality of life, availability of public services, public safety, and property values; and
to positively affect continued improvement in these and other areas.
To bring together representatives of the communities within unincorporated southern Sussex
County and provide a means for these communities to work together to address common issues
such as:
To promote the health and safety of southern Sussex County
To share experiences that might help others deal with issues facing their communities
To inform and educate member communities on topics affecting us all
To provide a forum for communities to discuss issues with elected officials
To advocate before public bodies on issues affecting member communities
