The Dream: 24 Years in the Making
Twenty-four years ago, we sat together and dreamed of a life in the country—of raising crops, tending livestock, and giving our children a place to grow. After two decades of patience, that dream became a reality when we finally moved onto our own 20-acre farm. Our children followed in their father’s footsteps as 10-year 4H members, and today, our fields are home to the cattle, crops, and family projects that we spent a lifetime imagining.
The Hands Behind the Harvest
Susong Farm is run by the hearts and hands of our family. Holly, a licensed Elementary educator, brings a passion for teaching and a childhood spent in the garden. Patrick, a Purdue-educated Mechanical Engineer, brings his lifelong experience in livestock and agricultural grit. Together with our three children—Jacob, Ava, and Lyla—we work the land that we are so proud to call home.
Our Mission: From Campers to Bouquets
Our mission is to provide a peaceful space for our community to slow down, reconnect with nature, and harvest joy. As an educator, my passion for children led us to host Susong Summer Camp for the past two years. While we loved teaching the value of agriculture to our campers, we felt a calling to create an experience the whole family could enjoy together. From campers to bouquets, Susong Farm: Pasture and Petals remains rooted in our history of nurturing the next generation. Cultivating beauty through the same hands-on spirit that built our camp. We invite you to experience the wonder of growth, one stem at a time.
