I am an applied microeconomist. My research interests lie within the fields of development economics, labour economics and industrial organisation.
I have experience in teaching or assisting in a range of Bachelor's and Master's level courses. I obtained a PhD in Economics from the University of Turku in December 2020. I was a post-doctoral researcher at the Turku School of Economics at the University of Turku, Finland until October 2023. I have also worked as a research consultant at the United Nations University - World Institute for Development Economics Research (UNU-WIDER), Finland in the past.
I hold a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Calcutta, India. I hold another Master's degree with a Major in Public Economics from the University of Konstanz, Germany.
