25 Years Journey at DPS, Maruti Kunj….
It is a proud moment for me as I have been fortunate to be a founder member of this esteemed Institution, DPS, Maruti Kunj.
DPS, Maruti Kunj was founded on 24 July, 1995 with Dr. Stalin Malhotra being the founder Principal of DPS, MK.
This year we complete twenty five glorious years of excellence. I congratulate the entire team of DPS, MK. It seems only yesterday when I had joined the school in 1995. I feel glad that I started my career in this esteemed institution. The founder Principal played an important role in making our dreams a reality, where we stand today.
DPS, Maruti Kunj had started functioning in a handful of flats located at Maruti Kunj, Bhondsi with only 350 students. The journey of 25 years has been very innovative and challenging.
I have the honour of being associated with DPS, MK library in all these 25 years. The library had started with only a handful of books, but now the school library is a rich library including both Senior and Junior wing.
The Library is a place where the mind is ignited. I feel very proud that our school library got the “Best School Library Award” in the session 2001-2002 conferred by ILA under the able guidance of founder Principal.
Mr. Nakanishi, MD, MSIL had appreciated the school library award in his visit in DPS, MK.
Mr. Salman Khurshid, Member DPS, Society had also visited the school library and appreciated our efforts.
Mr. Jagdish Khattar, MD, MSIL had appreciated our efforts on enriching the school library.
Being a founder member I have so many memories, but it’s not easy to express such a long journey in a few words.
Here, I would like to thank our Principal Mr. Akhilesh Chandra Chaturvedi, the man on a mission under whose guidance we are doing our work with full dedication, sincerity and freedom.
I wish DPS, MK progresses further and moves towards greater heights.
