Sushanto Bosak is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering at Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology (RUET), Bangladesh. He received the Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) and Master of Science (M.Sc.) degrees in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology (RUET), Rajshahi, Bangladesh, in 2022 and 2025, respectively, graduating first in his department at the undergraduate level.
His academic training is strongly research-oriented, with both undergraduate and master’s theses focused on advanced control and modeling of energy systems. His research interests lie at the intersection of hydrogen electrolyzers, power electronic interfacing, and power system frequency support, with an emphasis on control-oriented modeling and dynamic grid services from flexible energy assets. He is particularly interested in developing physically interpretable and scalable control strategies for grid-integrated hydrogen systems, and in extending these frameworks toward optimization-based and data-informed control paradigms.
Mr. Bosak has received multiple academic distinctions, including the “Student of the Year” award for four consecutive academic years at RUET and the Best Paper Award at the 6th International Conference on Electrical Information and Communication Technology (EICT 2023). His research experience includes journal and conference publications in the areas of hydrogen energy systems, nonlinear control, and grid support applications.
Prior to joining RUET, he served as a Lecturer in the Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering at Bangladesh Army University of Engineering & Technology (BAUET), where he also completed formal training in teaching methodologies (Methods of Instructions). While he values teaching and mentoring, his long-term goal is to pursue independent, impactful research addressing the challenges of power system flexibility and the energy transition, and to contribute to the development of next-generation grid-integrated hydrogen technologies through doctoral research.
Mr. Bosak's research interests focus on the modeling, control, and grid integration of flexible energy systems, with particular emphasis on:
Power System Integration of Hydrogen Technologies and Other Energy Storage Devices
Mathematical Modeling of Nonlinear Systems
Nonlinear Control Theory and Applications
