Hello, I am Susan Ritchie. I teach reading and math intervention for grades 6-8 at Robbins Elementary School. This is my third year at Robbins and I absolutely love it. I have a Master of Arts in Teaching Special Education P-12.

I grew up in Williamsburg, Ky. I went to Whitley County High School where I played Tennis for all four years. Yes, I am a Kentucky Wildcat fan but, please don't hold that against me. I am married and have two daughters that also attend Robbins. I live on a small farm that boarders Big South Fork. We have horses, goats, miniature pigs, chickens, rabbits, sugar gliders, dogs, a pony, and one miniature donkey. We also have beehives on our farms. I love the outdoors including hunting and camping. I go to West Robbins Baptist Church where I play mandolin and my husband plays the bass and guitar.

I love to teach and truly enjoy being in the classroom with my kids. I have been blessed to teach at Robbins Elementary. I love this school and community. I am so happy to be called a Hawk.
