About Me

My understanding of data analytics is to integrate domain knowledge based structural modeling into data. The future work using data shall involve four functions: description, diagnosis, prediction and prescription. To reach there, it requires creativity and effort.

My research interests mainly concern how information problems affect individual behavior and the organization of firms and markets, especially the structure of those industries related to health care. Using empirical methods and machine learning, my current research focuses on three lines concerning information and reputation . The first and main line of research investigates how information shapes the behavior of nursing homes. In the second line of research, I focus on how information technology changes the landscape of healthcare delivery. The third line concerns the impact of scientific misconducts on the reputation of individual researchers, and on innovation in the healthcare supply chain.
