Flight

The closest airports are in Brindisi and Bari. A shuttle bus service connects Brindisi Airport to Lecce in 35 minutes while Bari is connected by train (under 2 hours) to Lecce. To get to the train station in Bari from the airport there are both a bus and a train link taking respectively about 30 minutes by bus and less than 15 minutes by train. 

Train

The railway network in Lecce provides direct connections to major metropolitan areas and cities nationwide. The Trenitalia website (http://www.trenitalia.com) allows you to immediately check the best connections. Trains arrive at Lecce station, which is located approximately 1 km from the city center. 

Bus

Lecce is connected to other towns through several bus services. 

Car

To reach Lecce by car from Rome, you need to take the A1 highway towards Naples, and then follow either A16 or A14 towards Bari. To reach Lecce from Bari, for both routes, you need to follow the main road 379 towards Lecce.
