Surya N. Maharana
Hi! I am Surya.
I am currently a post-doc researcher at Université Libre de Bruxelles, Belgium, working with Prof. Anne De Wit and Laurence Rongy. Prior to my current affiliation, I was a Ph. D. student in the Department of Mathematics at IIT Ropar, India. My primary research focuses on computational fluid dynamics, numerical methods for partial differential equations, and analysis of Nonlinear PDEs. During my Ph.D. at IIT Ropar, I worked with Prof. Manoranjan Mishra at the Fluid Dynamics Research Lab, studying hydrodynamic instabilities. I am also interested in designing stable numerical methods to solve non-linear PDEs from modeling multi-phase flows of channel/ porous media. You may look at the Fluid Dynamics Research Lab site for work associated with Prof. Mishra's group.
