Surya N. Maharana
Hi! I am Surya.
My primary research interests are numerical methods for partial differential equations (PDEs), analysis of nonlinear PDE systems (fluid flow problems), and scientific computing. I am a postdoctoral fellow at the NLPC, ULB, Brussels, Belgium, working with Prof. Anne De Wit and Prof. Laurence Rongy on computational PDE. During my Ph.D. at IIT Ropar, I worked with Prof. Manoranjan Mishra at the Fluid Dynamics Research Lab, studying hydrodynamic instabilities. I am also interested in designing stable numerical methods to solve non-linear PDEs from modeling multi-phase flows of channel/ porous media. You may look at the Fluid Dynamics Research Lab site for work associated with Prof. Mishra's group.
