Research Group of the University of Genoa
The project leader, Lucia Leporatti, is under the age of 40; she has recently been promoted Associated Professor and has also received the National Scientific Qualification to become Full Professor (SECS P03). She is author of several articles in international journals mainly in the applied/health economics field. Since 2022 she is Director of the Specialization Course in Pharmaceutical Economics of Health and Health Technologies - University of Studies of Genoa.
Marcello Montefiori is Full Professor of Public Economics at the University of Genoa. As of 2018 he served as Scientific Coordinator of the Centre for Health Economics APHEC and President of the board of directors at San Martino University Polyclinic Hospital. His research interests span both public and health economics.
Luca Gandullia is Full Professor of Public Economics at the University of Genoa. He is the president of Liguria Ricerche, the In House company of the Liguria Region devoted to studies on the regional economy. He has expertise in experimental economics and in the design of behavioural experiments.

Rosella Levaggi is full professor at the University of Brescia and President of Siep (Società Italiana di Economia Pubblica). She has expertise in theoretical and empirical analysis applied to public economics and health economics. She is author of several scientific articles in the field of public and health economics
The PI in Brescia, Nicola Pontarollo is under the age of 40, has recently been promoted Associated Professor and has also received the National Scientific Qualification to become Full Professor (SECS P02 and SECS P06). He is the author of numerous scientific publications in the field of regional studies and spatial analyses. He has various experiences within international and national projects and has built many synergies with international research organizations
