Survival Island, also known as Three, is a 2005 erotic thriller survival film written and directed by Stewart Raffill and starring Billy Zane, Kelly Brook, and Juan Pablo Di Pace.

Washing up on a deserted island, Jennifer is completely alone until she sees the body of Captain Richards in the water. As she attempts to resuscitate him, Manuel appears and also unsuccessfully tries to revive him. They bury his body and under Manuel's guidance, set out to build a hut for shelter and find food. Two days later while fishing near a reef, Manuel finds Jack alive and brings him back to Jennifer and their hut.

Although Jack is grateful at first, he eventually suspects Manuel of having desires on his wife and declares the man his enemy, promising to ruin his life once they get off the island. This puts Jennifer in the uncomfortable position of her loyalty to Jack conflicting with the realization that they both need Manuel's help to survive. A proud man, Jack insists that he can provide for them both, but it quickly becomes apparent that he cannot. Jack and Jennifer's relationship starts quickly deteriorating.

While fishing another day, Jack finds a boat on the ocean floor. He drags it to shore and attempts to repair it. That night, Manuel and Jennifer go for a midnight swim as Jack watches them from a distance. As they start having sex, she gives him the idea of stealing the boat while Jack is out fishing so they can get away together from the island. The following morning, they manage to steal the boat and sail, however they do not get far before the boat begins to sink and they realize that Jack's plan all along was for them to take the boat and drown. They are forced to swim back to the island and to Jack, who attacks the exhausted Manuel with a spear and kidnaps Jennifer. Manuel rescues her that night but gets wounded in the process and becomes sick.

One year later, a yachting family drops anchor near the island and explores it, discovering Jennifer asleep in her hut. She, still somewhat distraught over Manuel's death, leaves with them, but does not mention that Jack, who she has been forced to live with and depend on since Manuel's death, is also on the island. Jack, who is fishing, sees her leaving on the yacht and calls out, but Jennifer, who had also stolen his lighter so he could not make any more fires, finally exacts revenge on him by ignoring him and the family inside the boat cannot hear him. Jack is abandoned on the island and his eventual fate is left ambiguous.

In Island Survival, students work in small groups to try and survive being marooned on an island through a story that unfolds piece by piece. They meet a series of challenges that require different types of thinking and ultimately aim to get off the island as a team.

For example, in one scenario, survival teams have access to a range of resources but a storm washes three away. They have to decide on and justify which ones they will lose in the storm. In another, they have to practically think about how they would respond to injuries in a group.

So far my little island has went from one tree to a small forest! I now have more seeds and trees then I know what to do with. Took me a few days (in game days) to make it happen. And a couple skeletons provided some nice help. Got to love that bone meal stuff on these types of maps.

Tried it briefly last night. Made the mistake of converting all the wood from my first tree to planks, so I had buggerall to convert to coal early on. Now I just have to patiently wait for my other trees to grow before I can dig any deeper. So far I've built a mud cottage in the centre of the island, sunk an open mine on the sunset side which gave me some iron ore and planted the saplings on the sunrise side. I noticed there's another island or something far to the sunrise side, shall explore that way once I have more lumber, hopefully giving me some sheep for wool.

Start this yesterday afternoon - hit bedrock (and redstone) about 3 hours later. Now armed with a compass, I'm looking for other landmasses. Other than a huge sand island to the west - with some sugar cane and cactus but sod all else - I've not found any other decent islands.

Turned out to be easier to get a boat, some wheat and just slowly lead them back over - the nearest island with spawning animals on is over 500 blocks south and 500 blocks west, so building a bridge would have been a CHORE. Annoyingly I now can't find any chickens, which is a shame as I need feathers for my arrows. I have every other animal bar cats on my farm!

FYI if you expand your island, there is a very low.. but possable chance for a chicken to spawn. more land = better chances. must be grass nothing above for 2 blocks. (I learned this from this very thread! :D

i found a random seed once where the island u start on was only a 2x2 space. I spawned and for a few minutes I sat there going.. well wtf.. I cant dig str8 down or Ide drown so im just sitting there it hits night and a creeper spawned and blew up the only land mass.. needless to say i never played that seed again. haha

I don't have access to the screenshots here but what I noticed when travelling to the big island SW of the starting point was that if you're half way across as night you can see lava... under the sea. I'm not quite sure how I'll be exploring this yet as it's quite deep but it's very pretty to look at.

I've also got a very decent farm going - more wheat than what's good for me, a greenhouse for my tree farm, 2-story brick house with balcony and dyed wool flooring, bigass open-shaft mine to the south leading to the dwarven mines. I've also started laying down rails to the various islets for no apparent reason - next step is building a bridge right across to S-E island, coz I'm sure there's gold in them thar hills.

That reminds me, I need to get back over to the SW island as I got half way through exploring the mass of caves riddling it - last time I made the mistake of not having a base set up there and emerged from a cave in the middle of night and got immediately merked by about 15 creepers and some skeletons. Goodbye 15 levels of XP.

An "island" in Minecraft is typically any collection of terrain that is above sea level and is surrounded by water on all sides. Islands often generate in relatively remote areas and are often cut off from the mainland. If a player happens to spawn on one of these, they may be faced with a major resource shortage.

Islands often generate in remote areas. Often, no other land is visible, and the island you are on may host just one tree, or just a few trees. If the island has no trees and the Bonus Chest option is turned off, you may want to start a new world, or try to find a different island, unless you want the challenge.

When on small island in a deep ocean, ironically, you don't have to worry much about monsters if the island is small enough to be within the minimum 24-block spawning range. Drowned may spawn in the ocean but they typically don't emerge from the water in a deep ocean. This is the situation with the "Ocean Monument Ahead" seed in the Bedrock Edition seed picker. With larger islands, it is a good idea to light it up as soon as possible to prevent monsters from spawning on it.

If the latter is the case, however, then it may (depending on resources, time and how far apart the islands are) be worth taking a look at what the other islands have to offer as well. They could contain what your island lacks that you need to survive.

Before doing anything else, go to the nearest tree and collect the wood. If it is the only tree on the island, harvest the leaves first, because they drop saplings that can be planted to get more wood. Plant the saplings immediately after harvesting the wood. This is vital for obtaining more wood and more saplings. Oak trees can even yield apples, which can be used as an early food source. 2351a5e196
