Ms. Geetha Sridhar was professionally a bank executive but hails from a deeply musical family. Her childhood passion for music and her strong inclination toward instrumental music inspired her to learn the sitar under the guidance of Ustad Mujtaba Ali Khan, an eminent AIR top-grade artist.

She completed her postgraduate studies in Sitar and earned a B-Grade in Sitar from All India Radio and Doordarshan.

Over the years, she has performed extensively across India as well as overseas, earning widespread recognition and numerous accolades.

Ms. Sridhar is also a registered tutor with Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, Pune, where she conducts examinations in sitar for students of all age groups. She additionally offers certificate courses catering to different levels of learners.

For the past 25 years, she has been successfully running her own music institution, Sur Sadhana Music School, located in JP Nagar, Bangalore.
