Our Mission: The Library Learning Commons at Surrey Centre is a safe place for all members of the school community to embrace and explore their passions, interests and needs. The learning commons supports student literacy by promoting a lifelong appreciation for reading for enjoyment and knowledge. The goal of the collection is to provide resources that are diverse and inclusive that reflect our school population.

Mrs. Bains: Teacher-Libraian
I have been teaching at Surrey Centre Elementary for 9 years and a teacher-librarian for 13 years in the district. I was also a classroom teacher for 10 years before completing my Graduate Diploma in Education Teacher-Librarianship. I love to read historical and realistic fiction books.
