I am a Lyricist as well as a Singer and Music Director. I also met many famous Lyricists, Music Director, Film Producers of our "Golden Time" and also learnt several things from them like a student though their Different Works (not the "Bookish Knowledge").

LEARN FORM GURUS

On my musical journey, my First Guru is my mother Smt. Gita Mukherjee. She was learn Hindustani Classical Music from Jiban Upadhyay student of the legendary singer Ustad Badal Khan Saheb. Second Guru is my father Late Gopal Lal Mukherjee. He was a Critic on Indian Classical Music and Rabindra Sangeet. He was learn from Pankaj Kumar Mallick the legendary figure of Rabindra Sangeet.

I Learned different types of classical based Bhajan, Geet etc. from Guru Prakash Kali Ghoshal of Delhi gharana for 8 (eight) years. Later I received training from Guru Dhrupadi Manik Ranjan Dutta of Gwalior gharana.

Learned Nazrul Geeti and allied Songs from Manobendra Mukherjee, Shamol Mitro, Pintu Bhattachariya, Sudam Bandopadhayay etc.

Stayed in Banaras and Lucknow for learning various Classical Vocal music from different eminent Ustads for 10 years.

EXPERIENCE

Passed Audition as an Artist of Adhunik and Lok-geeti in All India Radio Calcutta, and participated in many broadcasting programmed in individual vocal music.

M/S. Berry Music House (KIRAN) recorded two Lokgeetis song, composed and written by me which got lots of applause from every corner e.g. Lokageeti Anurodher Assar, Barnali, Manjusha, Methogaan and Antarjatik Lok Geetir Anurodher Assar of All India Radio (A.I.R).

Worked as a Music Director for giving background music to a Documentary Film titled as “Bhaskarer Atmacharit”. (Certificate No. 5225 dtd. 31.7.1989).

Worked as Music Director in two Feature Films’ named "Shankar Driver" and "Prem Swarga" (both are dead projects trying to focus), wherein songs were recorded by Smt. Arati Mukherjee, Smt. Arundhati Hom Chowdhury and myself, tunes of which were composed by me.

Participated as an Artist in the Programmed Anjali Laha More and sang two songs Duniata Jeno Ek Lattu & Doyal Maajhi Rey there in which were telecasted in the year 1996 from DD7 (DD Bangla) Channel.

I have made out some Cassettes in different Company which is very popular in the Market.
