Nebulizer Mask For Adult
The use of a nebulizer mask can significantly improve the comfort of your therapy. Users of nebulizers are often very young or very old, and it can be difficult for them to cup their lips around a mouthpiece for 5-15 minutes. While receiving therapy, the user can sit back and relax while breathing easily via the mask. Masks come in a variety of shapes and sizes, so be sure the one you choose is the proper fit for you and your nebulizer.
While some nebulizer systems, such as ultrasonic units and the Micro Elite compressor system, require unique masks to suit square to oblong attachments, the majority of ordinary nebulizer sets have the same opening size after the mouthpiece is removed. These apertures are either at the top or at the bottom.
A bottom loading mask is required for nebulizers with a top attachment. These masks include a unique elbow that connects the mask to the nebulizer. The paediatric dragon mask, Super Spike dog themed mask, and the Omron Pediatric Mask are all popular children's masks, disposable nebulizers, and other top attaching nebulizers. Any normal mask can be used by adults.
Front-loading nebulizers, such as the PARI nebulizer sets, necessitate the use of special masks that attach to the nebulizer directly. An elbow is not required to attach front-loading nebulizers. PARI sells masks for adults and children that are constructed of soft silicone and include no metal. They fit to the curve of the face and include vents strategically placed to prevent drug concentration around sensitive facial areas.
